We are always seeking to increase the community’s awareness of our work with those affected by poverty, discrimination and marginalisation. As a small team, there are limits to what we can achieve.
We extend our reach and impact through our much loved volunteers and ambassadors.
Our volunteers have one thing in common, a passion for supporting improvements to the lives of the poor and suffering. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community, a great way to meet new people, and a great way to feel good about helping others. We would love you to get involved and join our team today!
Volunteers are a valued part of the team at INA and there are a number of ways that you can get involved – from assisting with administrative duties in the office to accompanying us at public events.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age, be prepared to undergo a police check and must be happy to commit to a minimum number of working hours per week or fortnight.
Ambassadors are people who help to inspire, educate and motivate other Australians through their involvement in activities such as presentations, talks, seminars and conferences. They also help to raise much needed funding by participating in, or organising fundraising events for INA.
Our ambassadors might speak at a church, run in a fun-run or volunteer at a conference information stand. They care about the work of INA and are able to speak on behalf of INA, answering questions and helping to explain the work we do.
Ready to join us?
Most of us believe that every human deserves access to education, food, clean water and a chance to make a living - most of us believe too, that the poverty cycle can be broken if we work together with that aim as our goal.
Volunteers and Ambassadors go further – they put ‘hands and feet’ on their beliefs and are motivated to get involved and help.
If that’s you, we would love to hear from you. Simply fill out the form below and we’ll get in touch with you.
