Marketing and communications Coordinator

It’s that passion that we are looking for at International Needs Australia. We have a role (4 days a week/full time, open to negotiation and flexible hours) that will be suited for someone who has experience in:
Sourcing and creating content for our digital platforms (including social media)
Writing creatively for newsletters, fundraising appeals and brochures.
Editing and updating website content
Familiarity with database management and troubleshooting, along with data queries and extraction. (Raisers Edge experience would be advantageous)
You will need to be highly organised and detail orientated, have exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, and willing to use your creative ability for a small but dynamic not for profit overseas agency. Moreover, you must believe that poverty is not a life sentence and that we all have a role to play in alleviating poverty internationally. We are a team committed to delivering and supporting the excellent (and award winning!) work that we do in the field, and you will be a key part of that.
Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in communications or marketing, and/or at least 2 years’ demonstrated experience in a marketing team. A sound knowledge of social media platforms (content and advertising) as well as experience in EDMs in an NFP setting will be highly regarded.
This position will be offered as an ongoing position with a probationary period of 6 months. A start date of within August 2018 would be ideal.
